Longjing is the classic green tea from China. immortalized as a tribute tea by emperors and revered the world over. The original Longjing tea which was recognized by Emperor Qianlong and propelled the Hangzhou Westlake region to fame was processed from the Qunti cultivar. The more common variety of Dragonwell today, which most people associate with what that tea should look, smell and taste like, is grown from an engineered modern cultivar, known as Longjing 43.

These two longjing teas were processed from tea leaves harvested in mid April of 2023.

This is your opportunity to try both cultivars side by side and decide for yourselves which you prefer to drink.
