NYTS Tea Traveling Box — Community Exchange Project

This month, NYTS launches a living experiment in shared tea culture: the NYTS Tea Traveling Box, a circulating collection of Camellia sinensis samples gathered from our ongoing tastings, sourcing trips, vendor samples, and member contributions.

The box will be filled with a rotating selection of teas across all categories—green, white, oolong, black, dark, pu'er, and experimental regional expressions. Each shipment reflects the evolving archive of teas accumulating within the NYTS community.

Members who wish to participate will RSVP by filling out a registration form, which includes their name and shipping address, to be added to the rotation list. The box will be shipped to the first person on the list to begin its journey.

Upon receiving the box, participants are invited to explore freely, tasting as many teas as they wish from the collection. Afterward, they are asked to contribute back by replacing any…
