Master Cho’s ‘Snowy Ombre’

Wild High-Mountain Bug-bitten Oolong Tea

Harvest Date: Winter 2025

Harvest Region: Ren'ai township, Nantou county

Elevation: 1600m

Cultivar: Camelia Sinesis Formosensis

Winter 2025 in Taiwan has been quite unusual—warm during the day but very cold at night. Master Cho has harvested these bug-bitten wild tea leaves to produce a very special oolong which he has named Snowy Ombre, due to its softness, elegance, and gradual change.

Snowy Ombre has a sweet aroma reminiscent of sugar frosting, with floral and fruity notes. It carries a delicate high-mountain mist and cool frost aroma, with fresh, uplifting fruit notes reminiscent of sugarcane and

guava. These are accompanied by

the gentle sweetness of grassy

aromas drifting through winter

mountain ranges, while a lingering

oolong fragrance gracefully

envelops the palate.
