A unique black tea produced from the Taiwanese Jin Xuan tea strain using the typical oolong ball rolled tea making process resulting in a full-bodied pleasant tasting red tea, with a distinct honey aroma and taste that occurs due to the presence of leafhoppers (Jacobiasca formosana) that are allowed to bite the tea leaves before harvesting. The tea plants react to the bug bites by producing protective enzymes, which results in a unique honey aroma and taste.
